vCIO & Strategy
You don’t need more vendors. You need someone thinking ahead about technology with the same care you’re thinking about the business.
Quarterly business reviews, a real technology roadmap, and a thinking partner for the decisions that matter.
The plan
- 01
Understand the business
Where the business is, where it’s going, and what role technology plays in getting it there.
- 02
Build a roadmap
A prioritized, budgeted technology plan that ties to business outcomes — not a list of tools.
- 03
Review and adapt
Quarterly business reviews to track progress, surface new risks, and adjust as the business evolves.

Common questions
- What does a vCIO actually do?
- Sits at the table with your leadership during planning conversations. Translates business goals into technology decisions (and vice versa). Builds and maintains a multi-year technology roadmap. Reviews vendor relationships and pricing. Owns the technology budget conversation. Basically, the strategic IT seat your business is too small to hire full-time but too important to leave empty.
- How often do we meet?
- Standard cadence is quarterly business reviews, plus monthly check-ins with whoever owns IT decisions internally, plus ad-hoc strategic conversations as opportunities and risks come up. We adjust to your rhythm, not the other way around.
- Is vCIO included in managed IT?
- A basic quarterly review is included in our managed IT service. The deeper vCIO engagement — roadmap development, vendor management, budget ownership, strategic project planning — is a separate add-on, typically priced at a fixed monthly rate so it’s predictable.
- What businesses benefit from vCIO?
- Businesses that are growing, changing, or facing a strategic technology decision they’ve never had to make before. New office, new line of business, acquisition, compliance regime change, considering an ERP, considering an M&A exit — that’s where vCIO earns its keep.
