Common questions
- Is Microsoft 365 actually secure out of the box?
- No — and that’s by design. Microsoft ships a permissive default tenant so it works for everyone. Hardening it (conditional access, MFA enforcement, mail flow rules, sharing policies, retention, audit log review) is on you or your partner. That’s the gap we close in our standard 365 deployment.
- Should we move to SharePoint / OneDrive from our file server?
- Usually yes, but with planning. We assess what actually lives on the file server, what permissions are in use, what compliance requirements apply, and how your team works — then design a migration that doesn’t leave half the team using both for six months.
- Do you do email migrations from other platforms?
- Yes — Google Workspace, hosted Exchange, on-prem Exchange, GoDaddy, Rackspace. We handle the cutover with full data fidelity, MX timing, and end-user prep so the inbox transition is mostly invisible to your team.
- How do you license — do you resell Microsoft 365?
- Yes, through our Microsoft CSP relationship. You can keep your existing licensing, transfer it to us, or buy new — whichever is cleanest. When we hold licensing we handle adds/removes and changes within our managed service, no separate billing calls.
- Can you set up Microsoft Teams calling / Teams phones?
- Yes — see our Phone Systems service. Teams Phone is one of the platforms we deploy and support, including hardware, calling plans, and call flow design.
